Our Bowling Club is situated in a prime position within the beautiful location of Invermay, providing a country feel, whilst being so close to the city of Ballarat. We are a part of the Invermay Progress Association, where we share fantastic facilities with the Creswick Imperials Cricket Club, Ballarat Society of Model Engineers, and the Invermay Tennis Club.
For the complete newcomer to lawn bowls, looking for a sporting activity that promises much in fun and enjoyment with a competitive element, then the friendly, welcoming atmosphere of the Invermay Bowling Club will be the place to be.
New members and visitors are welcome, with full memberships for pennant bowls or social memberships for social activities and to enjoy great company.
We currently have 2 weekend (Division 3 & 7) and 2 midweek (Division 2 & 4) pennant teams in the Ballarat-Highlands Bowls Region (BHBR) competition, catering for a range of bowler abilities in a competitive but friendly environment. The Club’s weekly ‘Pennant Practice’ is every Thursday afternoon (during pennant season), between 4pm-6pm, followed by a basic meal for a nominal fee (currently $5 per head).
